Das Scholars at Risk Advocacy Seminar der Ruhr-Uni-Bochum stellt seine Arbeiten im Rahmen der Menschenrechtskampagnen für zwei gefangene Wissenschaftler:innen im Iran vor. Ein Abend mit Musik, Gedichten und Kurzimpulsen, per Live-Stream übertragen.

The Scholars at Risk Advocacy Seminar at the Ruhr University Bochum (Bochum4SAR) has the pleasure to invite you to its final advocacy event ‘Scholars in Prison: An Evening Dedicated to the Freedom of Niloufar Bayani and All Wrongfully Imprisoned Scholars’. This solidarity event (hybrid, livestreamed) for the release and wellbeing of Ms. Niloufar Bayani and all wrongfully imprisoned academics is one of various advocacy activities being implemented by a group of international students taking part in the SaR advocacy seminar at RUB. In this concluding event, the students, distinguished guests, and artists would like to express solidarity with these imprisoned scholars and raise their voices for the protection and promotion of academic freedom and human rights globally.

Due to ongoing pandemic situation, only limited number of participants can join the event in person. Therefore, we ask all interested participants to RSVP at bochum4sar@gmail.com or watch it online.
