Mikroorganismen siedeln sich auf unserer Alltagstechnik an, dringen in die Technosphäre ein und kreieren ihren eigenen Lebensraum. Als Verbündete werden sie zu einem Bio-Techno-Superwesen, eine Art Organismus, der sich von Technik speist und die Erde bewohnt. Die elektronische Live-Performance des Dortmunder Artist-Duos Alice & Bob erzählt diese Geschichte in Form eines facettenreichen Soundtracks. In Kürze werden sie ihr erstes Release auf dem Label von Marie Montexier veröffentlichen.
Techniological gardens became an ever-expanding habitat for a wide variety of creatures.
The heat of the batteries, the sweat of the users, formed the ideal breeding ground for the smallest organisms. The more electricity was consumed, the more productive the breeding ground for the organic cover of the organisms. The garden's opulent bloom was fed by energy consumption and the symbiosis of mankind and technology. Once, these tiny microorganisms and fungi lived in ponds, in forests, in crevices of rock and stone. Their new habitat evolved into finely brushed aluminum surfaces, touchscreen glass, tiny crevices that survived when the casing was screwed into place. In the gaps of metal and plastic, between bulletproof glass and touchscreen, a surface developed a landscape.
