Splitting their time between Melbourne and Berlin since forming in 2020\, Kino Motel has developed a style they call ‘Beach Goth’\, described by critics as ‘Australian Gothic’\, ‘Noir’\, ‘Cinematic’ and ‘Grunge’. \nLikened to artists such as Baxter Dury\, Fontaines DC and Nick Cave\, the band has toured Europe 3 times and Australia twice\, played on major festivals like Fusion (Germany) and Binic (France)\, and released their debut album Visions in 2024.
